Michael Tessler

Michael Tessler (he/them) is an award-winning queer film and television producer and the CEO & Head of Creative of Multihouse.
Michael has worked for both INE Entertainment and AMS Pictures in television development. Some of his credits includes Legends of the Deep, Alaskan Killer Bigfoot on Discovery+, and Discovery Live: Into the Blue Hole with Sir Richard Branson. He was a producer on The Great Global Cleanup featuring Zac Efron and most recently was a director and producer for Lifetime's #TextMeWhenYouGetHome true crime drama. He was the lead producer and co-writer on the award-winning Revolutionary War narrative feature film One Life to Give and has helped produce and develop over a dozen network series. He is series regular on the hit-show The Reel Rejects.
Michael has been featured in a variety of publications including The Los Angeles Times, The Hollywood Reporter, MSN, KPCC, LAist, The Wall Street Journal, and TechRepublic.
He has received awards and accolades from former U.S. President George W. Bush, Congressman Adam B. Schiff, Los Angeles City Council CD13, the New York State Senate, the New York State Assembly, and United Nations. He previously served as the chairman of the International Youth Congress and was the keynote speaker of the Nigerian National Youth Peace Summit in 2018.
He served three term as a board member on the Hollywood Studio District Neighborhood Council in Los Angeles and served as the district chair until 2023.
